Why we exist

Renovating for sale is a different job.

You're not choosing a kitchen to cook in for the next ten years. You're getting a house ready for the three weeks that decide its price.

That changes where the money should go. Neutral over personal. Paint and carpet over structural. Whatever shows up in the photos, the open home and the offers.

ReadyEstate was built on 15+ years in real estate marketing. We've watched thousands of campaigns and we know what buyers actually pay for, so we only recommend work that returns more than it costs at sale. If something on your list won't, we'll tell you to skip it. Plenty of houses need less than their owners think.

Three ways to get sale-ready.

Every house is different. Most fall into one of these.

How it works

Four steps. You make one decision.

1

Walk-through

We visit the house, you tell us the listing date. Takes under an hour.

2

Quote and contract

A written, itemised fixed quote with visuals of what the finished rooms will look like. You approve it or you don't.

3

The work

Scheduled around your sales campaign, typically ten days on site. Trades, materials and sequencing are our problem, not yours.

4

You list

Finished before photography, so the house buyers see online is the house we handed back.

The visual quote

See it finished before you spend a dollar.

Most renovation quotes are a list of line items and a number. Ours come with photo-real images of your actual rooms with the proposed work done, built from the photos we take at the walk-through.

You're not approving a description. You're approving a result you've already seen.

For real estate agents

Every listing you take hits the market looking finished.

ReadyEstate slots into the vendor's marketing spend alongside photography and campaign costs. Fixed bands by floor area, price locked at sign-up, work completed before the shoot. One less conversation for you to have, one better campaign to run.

Before and after

What sale-ready looks like.

Milford, North Shore

Dated timber ceiling and tired walls to a bright, neutral room. Full repaint and new carpet.

Milford, North Shore

Street appeal for the listing photos. House wash, exterior paint and a tidy garden line.

One Tree Hill

The kitchen buyers walk into first. Cosmetic lift, styled and photo-ready.

Sale-ready images are the photo-real visual plans from our quotes, built from photos of each house. It's how every ReadyEstate job starts: you see the result, then you approve the work.

Questions

Asked before every job.

Couldn't I just organise the trades myself?

You could. It means finding a painter, a carpet layer, a handyman and a house washer, then sequencing all four against a listing deadline, while also selling your house. We do it as one job with one price and one finish date. That's the product.

Will you talk me into work I don't need?

No. The whole point of renovating for sale is spending only where buyers pay it back. If your carpet is fine, we'll say so. The walk-through often ends with a shorter list than the owner expected.

What does it cost?

Sale-Ready Day runs on fixed bands by house size, from $1,200 + GST. Refresh and full renovations are quoted fixed after the walk-through, itemised so you can see exactly where the money goes. The number we quote is the number you pay.

Do I have to pay before the house sells?

Usually the job is simply paid like any other renovation. For qualifying jobs we can also arrange deferred payment through your solicitor, settled when the sale goes unconditional. Ask us at the walk-through and we'll tell you if your job fits.

Who actually does the work?

ReadyEstate is run by The Onsite Team, an Auckland renovation and property maintenance company. Same crew, same standards, focused entirely on pre-sale work under this brand. You can see the wider company at onsiteteam.co.nz.

How fast can you start?

Tell us your listing or photography date and we build the schedule backwards from it. A full renovation typically needs ten working days on site, a Refresh less, a Sale-Ready Day just needs one clear day before the shoot.
